Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police say a man is facing charges after an incident at a business on Keil Drive South.
Officers responded on May 1, 2026, at approximately 10:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a male refusing to leave the premises. Police located the individual, who they say continued to be non-compliant.
The man was arrested and, during the arrest, resisted officers but was taken into custody without further incident.
A 52-year-old Chatham man was transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date of June 29, 2026.
He has been charged with one count of failing to leave premises when directed and one count of resisting a peace officer.
