Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Ridgetown woman is facing a criminal harassment charge following an intimate partner violence investigation in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent police say they attended an address on Grand Avenue West on May 2, 2026, at approximately 9:16 p.m.
Officers spoke with a woman who reported receiving harassing messages from a former partner from multiple different numbers.
As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old woman from Ridgetown was arrested and charged with one count of criminal harassment.
She was transported to police headquarters and later released on conditions with a future court date of July 6, 2026.
