With peaceful but heavy hearts we announce that Maurice ‘Moe’ DeVylder passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the age of 79.
Born in Zelzute, Belgium in 1946, Maurice emigrated to Canada in 1950 when he was just 4 years old.
He will be forever remembered as a beloved husband for 48 years to Maryanne, a loving father to his daughters Melissa and Monica (Tony), and a cherished grandfather to Neo.
Maurice loved his dogs, hockey, baseball, golfing with the boys, wood carving, and spending time sitting on his patio.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
