Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 19-year-old Toronto man is facing charges following a disturbance in Chatham on Thursday afternoon.
Chatham-Kent police were called to a residence in Chatham at approximately 2:39 p.m. on May 7, 2026.
Through investigation, officers learned that an altercation had occurred between two individuals known to one another. Police say one person was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
The accused has been charged with assault. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
