Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 35-year-old Dresden man is facing an assault charge following a domestic incident in Dresden.
Chatham-Kent police said officers were called to a residence in north Dresden at about 10:50 p.m. on May 12.
Police allege a 35-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman became involved in a verbal argument after the man wanted the woman to leave the property. During the dispute, the woman was allegedly struck in the face and suffered minor injuries.
A 35-year-old Dresden man was arrested and charged with assault. He was later released with a future court date.
