Chatham woman charged after vehicle strikes building

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 70-year-old Chatham-Kent woman has been charged with careless driving after a vehicle struck a building in Chatham on Thursday morning, according to Chatham-Kent Police Service.

Police said officers were dispatched to Richmond Street at approximately 8:04 a.m. on May 14 for a reported motor vehicle collision.

Investigators determined the driver collided with a building, causing damage. Minor injuries were reported.

The woman was issued a provincial offences notice for careless driving.
