‘Rooted in Hart’ family wellness event set for May 31 at the Wallaceburg Wellness Centre (Listen)

Rootling Studio is hosting a family wellness event in Wallaceburg on May 31, bringing together local practitioners for an afternoon focused on grounding, connection and creativity.

The session runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the studio space above the Wallaceburg Wellness Centre at 222 Wellington Street, though organizers note the upper‑level location is not currently wheelchair accessible.

The afternoon opens with a grounding circle led by Cathy Cogghe of the Wallaceburg Wellness Centre, followed by a co‑regulation session with registered psychotherapist (qualifying) Rachel Hart VanDorsselaer of Therapy with Hart.

Families will also take part in a creative sensory bottle activity with Miss Amanda from Rootling Studio, enjoy healthy snacks prepared by Ode’mini Giizis Coffee Co. & Cafe, and receive a family Polaroid photo courtesy of Amanda Meyer Photography & Arts. The event closes with a reflection circle.

Early bird registration is set at $50 per family until May 19, increasing to $55 afterward, with space limited to 12 families and pricing based on up to four participants.

Send an email to rootlingstudio@gmail.com and they’ll send you the registration form.

The event is presented by Rootling Studio with catering by Ode’mini Giizis Coffee Co. & Cafe, in partnership with Therapy with Hart, the Wallaceburg Wellness Centre and Amanda Meyer Photography & Arts.
