The Wallaceburg and District Museum is inviting paddlers to take part in a competitive 20-kilometre race and a recreational five-kilometre paddle later this month in Wallaceburg.
The event is scheduled for June 27, 2026, and will feature a 20K competitive race from Brander Park in Port Lambton to Glasstown Brewing Company in Wallaceburg.
Organizers are also offering a five-kilometre recreational paddle loop beginning at Crothers Park.
The museum said post-race activities at Glasstown Brewery will include music and prizes.
The event is open to canoes, kayaks and paddleboards and is sanctioned by the Ontario Marathon Canoe and Kayak Racing Association.
