Elizabeth Mary McDougall, “Betty,” of Wallaceburg, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the Sydenham Campus of the Chatham Kent Health Alliance.
Born in Chatham, Betty was the daughter of Casey and Evelyn VanDerGuilik.
She was the wife of Patrick Killeen.
Betty and Jamie McDougall were the parents of Jamie McDougall (Wendi) and Lisa Broad (Kyle).
Betty will also be missed by her grandchildren Mathias, Asher, Tristan, Kyla, and Riel.
She was the sister of Teresa (Roy), Casey (Ester), David (Connie), Jeffrey (Terry), and Chantel.
Family was important to Betty and her grandchildren were the light of her life, she enjoyed every moment with them.
Friends also held a special place in Betty’s heart.
Chris Hagan and Ganda Markham were people who made a difference in her life.
Betty’s family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses on the Medicine Floor of the CKHA – Sydenham Campus for their care and compassion with Betty.
Betty’s family will be remembering her privately.
