With great sadness we announce that on Monday, June 15, 2026, David Kenneth Nahdee, a member of Walpole Island First Nation continued his journey to join his ancestors in the spirit world at the age of 61.
He was the loving son of the late Llyod and Frances (Johnson) Nahdee and will be greatly missed by his siblings John (Linda) Johnson, Glenna (Harold Jacobs Jr.), Annette (Michael Williams), Darrel, his twin Lloyd Jr (Doreen), Norma (John Workman), Stacey and Randy Nahdee.
Predeceased by his sister’s Patricia Day, Brenda Kechego, Adrianna Nahdee and brother’s Dale, Michael and William.
He will be fondly missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Nob was an avid volleyball and football enthusiast, playing much in his younger years.
Before his injury, David’s passion was becoming a police officer.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the family’s home (300c Tecumseh Rd., Walpole Island) on Thursday, June 18th from 5-9pm and Friday, June 19th from 10am-9pm.
His funeral ceremony will be held at Walpole Island Sports complex on Saturday, June 20 at 11am with burial to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
