Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 29-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged after Chatham-Kent police located her while on patrol Thursday evening.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were conducting general patrol in the area of Edwy Street in Wallaceburg at approximately 7:52 p.m. on June 18 when they observed a woman who was the subject of an active warrant for theft under $5,000.
Police arrested the woman on the strength of the warrant without incident and took her into custody.
She was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 16, 2026.
