Chatham-Kent Public Library has announced the winners of its 2026 Teen Art Contest, which asked young artists to explore the theme “Imagination.”
The contest featured four categories, including mixed media, painting, drawing and photography, with one winner selected in each.
Mixed media winner Ivy Vandendool was recognized for “Beyond,” while painting winner Diti Nirella was selected for “My Perfect Photograph.” Drawing honours went to Hillary Skellet for “Gachiakuta,” and photography winner Klhoe Tinning was awarded for “The Upside Down.”
Library officials say the contest highlights the creativity and talent of local youth and provides a platform for artistic expression across the community.
All submissions will be showcased online and featured in a digital gallery across library branches.
