Terese Rachelle ‘Terri’ Wonderly LaRocque of Windsor and formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma and the London, Ontario area passed away in Windsor on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the age of 48 due to a rare illness. Terri is a member of Walpole Island First Nation and is the daughter of Don & Gladys (Tooshkenig) Wonderly and Brenda Day & Paul Willams.
Loving wife of the late Joseph LaRocque. She will be dearly remembered by her children Vivica ‘Chance’ Wonderly-Doxtator, Casimir Wonderly-Doxtator, Lucious LaRocque and Duke LaRocque. Dear sister of James, Kristy, Bill, Lisa, Marcel, Cheyenne, Cooky, Shownoo, Sal, Sasha, Marliece, Angus, Bobbie, Marilyn, Megan and Jorel. She will be fondly remembered by her grandmother Ruby Wonderly as well as by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231) from 4 – 7 PM on Thursday, July 2. The funeral will be celebrated at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Friday, July 3 at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
