Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 61-year-old Stoney Point man has been charged after police investigated a report of a possibly impaired driver in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent police said officers were contacted at about 12:24 p.m. on June 30 regarding a suspected impaired driver.
Police located the vehicle on Wallace Street and conducted a traffic stop.
After speaking with the driver, officers demanded a breath sample using an Approved Screening Device. Police allege the driver refused to provide a sample.
The man was arrested and charged with failure or refusal to provide a breath sample.
He was released from custody with a future court date.
