Dad passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Chatham Kent Hospice at the age of 88 years.
Mr. Cliff Demers a resident of Wallaceburg and son of the late Henry and Idella (nee Barnier) Demers.
Beloved husband of Mary (nee Foster) Demers. Loving father of Michele (Ray) Johnston and Tracy (Paul) Connor and the late Mandy Cameron (2023).
Dear grandfather of Alisha, Clifford, Levi, Owen (Jordan), Samantha (Wade), Tyler (Carol) and great grandfather of Weston, Ivy, Beau, Archie, Ava and Benjamin. Kind brother of Gord, Annette, Virginia and brother-in-law of Paul. predeceased by his siblings Gerald, Arsene, Lucy, Eugene, Linda, Ursula, Gertrude, Evelyn, Lily, Mabel and Jeannette.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was always interested in antique cars and always liked going to WAMBO.
He would also spend many days and hours enjoying his time peacefully sitting on the front porch.
The late Cliff Demers is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St, Wallaceburg N8A 3C6.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 2-5pm at the funeral home.
