Sarnia Police Service officials allege: A Sarnia man is facing multiple charges after Lambton County OPP say he was found in possession of property stolen from a vehicle.
Officers responded to a report on Front Street in Point Edward on July 17, 2026, shortly before 10:30 a.m., after receiving a complaint about an individual believed to be in possession of previously stolen property.
A 40-year-old Sarnia man was charged under the Criminal Code with theft under $5,000, mischief for destroying or damaging property, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on August 25, 2026.
