The Municipality of Chatham-Kent’s Arts & Culture division says the call for submissions for Eye4Art, its biennial juried art exhibition, will open August 1 and run through August 31.
Eye4Art celebrates artists with a connection to Chatham-Kent working in a range of media, including conceptual art, performance, storytelling, poetry, dance, music, textiles and fashion design. Submissions will be accepted starting at 9 a.m. on August 1 through 4 p.m. on August 31, with applications available online at tagartspace.com/eye4art.
The 2024 edition of the show saw more than 40 artists exhibit nearly 90 works at the Thames Art Gallery, and organizers say they hope to see even more participation this year.
Eye4Art 2026 will be on exhibit at the Thames Art Gallery from October 24, 2026, to January 31, 2027, with an opening reception planned for October 23 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The Thames Art Gallery is located in the Chatham Cultural Centre at 75 William St. N. in Chatham. It is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, and until 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
