Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 39-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with assault following a disturbance on Duke Street in Wallaceburg on Sunday evening.
Chatham-Kent police say they received information of a disturbance on Duke Street at approximately 9:26 p.m. on July 26, 2026. Through investigation, police learned that a female had struck a male during a verbal dispute.
The woman was arrested and brought to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters, where she was later released on an undertaking with a future court date of September 2, 2026.
