Smit: Melva (Healey) a resident of R.R.#3 Dresden, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026 at the age of 83. Born in Parry Sound ON. daughter of the Late Melvin and Eva (Nicholas) Healey.
Beloved wife of the Late Jack Smit (1993). She is survived by her sons Albert and Kelly Smit, Jacob and Mary Smit, Nathan and Tina Smit and grandchildren Brandon, Amber, Jack, Emma, Jaclyn, Douglas.
Predeceased by a sister Eleanor Passingham (Late Bob) and a brother Clifford Healey. Cremation has taken place. Her family will remember her privately.
