The Downtown Wallaceburg BIA is calling on local Indigenous artists to submit artwork ahead of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation this September.
Selected pieces will be professionally printed on banners and displayed throughout downtown Wallaceburg during the month of September, celebrating Indigenous culture, creativity and community while encouraging reflection and reconciliation.
The submission deadline is August 17. Artists can submit their work to wallaceburgbia@live.ca.
The BIA said artists of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate, and is asking the community to help spread the word among local Indigenous artists.
