Six outstanding Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) members have been selected to receive bursaries from Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO), in the amount of $5,000 each, to further their post-secondary education.
The bursary program is funded by DFO, which recognizes young athletes who demonstrate leadership in building strong, healthy communities, achieve academic excellence, and display a deep passion for and commitment to the game of hockey.
DFO and OHA are proud to award the 2025-2026 bursaries to Gabriel Trozzo of the Toronto Patriots in the OJHL, Wyatt Albert of the Dundas Blues and Blake Peters-Davey of the Clarington Eagles, both in the PJHL, Chayse Herrfort of the Minto 81’s in the OEHL, Hillary Brennan, an OHA official, and Aiden Kral of the Caledonia Corvairs in the GOHL.

The Ontario Hockey Association was founded on November 27, 1890, and is the governing body for the majority of Junior and Senior hockey in the Province of Ontario. The OHA is a Member Partner of the Ontario Hockey Federation, one of thirteen Provincial and Regional Branches of Hockey Canada. It is comprised of three Junior hockey leagues and two Senior hockey leagues: the Ontario Junior Hockey League at the Junior A level, the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League at Junior B, the Provincial Junior Hockey League at Junior C, and Allan Cup Hockey and the Ontario Elite Hockey League at the Senior AAA and AA levels respectively. For the 2025-2026 season, the five leagues encompass 132 teams, roughly 3,100 players, and about 6,000 games, with the majority of players between 16 and 21 years of age.
Dairy Farmers of Ontario is the marketing board for the largest sector of Ontario agriculture. Its mission is to provide leadership and excellence in the production and marketing of Canadian milk for a dynamic, profitable, growing dairy industry, with more than 10,000 dairy farmers and their families across 3,153 farms producing high-quality milk for Canadians.
