Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 43-year-old Windsor man is facing an assault charge following an incident on Timmins Crescent in Chatham Wednesday night.
Chatham-Kent Police Service members responded to the scene at approximately 21:14 hrs on July 29, 2026. Investigators learned that the victim had been assaulted by her partner following a verbal argument.
As a result of the investigation, the man was arrested and charged with assault. He was taken to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters, where he was released on an undertaking with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 15, 2026.
