OPP officials allege: A traffic complaint led to an individual being arrested and charged with an impaired driving-related offence.
On August 2, 2026, shortly after 5:30 p.m., the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a traffic complaint on Lakeshore Road in the Municipality of Lambton Shores.
Police attended the area and located the vehicle and driver. A traffic stop was initiated on Ontario Street North and Main Street in Grand Bend.
As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old Sarnia man, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with failure or refusal to comply with demand.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on October 14, 2026, in the City of Sarnia.
