OPP officials allege: Police have charged an individual following a traffic complaint in Petrolia.
On August 3, 2026, shortly after 11:00 p.m., members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver on Petrolia Line, near Oil Heritage Road.
As a result of the investigation, Jessica Madacsi, 38, of Petrolia, was charged under the Criminal Code with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on September 8, 2026, in the City of Sarnia.
