Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police arrested a 25-year-old Chatham man on Wednesday after spotting him driving a vehicle on Richmond Street while wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service observed the vehicle at approximately 3:50 p.m. and conducted a traffic stop. The man was arrested without incident and taken to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
As a result of the investigation, the man has been charged with breaking and entering with intent, theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
