Glasstown Brewery rolls out WAMBO lager, live music in downtown Wallaceburg

Glasstown Brewing Company at 331 James Street is revving up for the biggest weekend of the year in Wallaceburg as WAMBO rolls into town.

We caught up with Nicole Wadsworth – Manager at Glasstown – for an interview.

The team has crafted a brand‑new Canadian lager specifically for the celebration, complete with a commemorative collectors can available only this weekend.

Visitors will find the lager served in the beer tent, while full‑size cans can be picked up right at Glasstown Brewing Company for a limited time.

A takeout tent will be set up at the patio entrance, making it easy for people on the move to grab their WAMBO Canadian Lager along with quick, healthy food options.

Fresh wraps like chicken Caesar, turkey club and a southwest veggie option will be ready for anyone needing something fast before heading back into the festivities.

For those planning to stay awhile, seating is available both inside and outside along the river, with a self‑serve bar on the patio offering a relaxed way to enjoy the afternoon.

Saturday brings live music as the Royal Canadian Legion Pipe Band begins performing at 1 p.m., adding a classic WAMBO soundtrack to the day.

After the busy weekend winds down, Sunday offers a softer finish with acoustic music by Demi Krall starting at 4 p.m., giving visitors a chance to unwind and enjoy the final notes of the celebration.
