Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 24-year-old Chatham-Kent man is facing multiple charges after two people were assaulted on Bond Avenue, Chatham-Kent police say.
Police received a report of an assault at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 9. Investigation found a male pushed another male to the ground and began punching him, and when a female tried to intervene, the man grabbed her by the neck, according to police.
The man was arrested and charged with assault, assault causing bodily harm and a second count of assault.
He was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a court date of Nov. 5.
