Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Aug. 12, 2026, at approximately 11:19 p.m., police were dispatched to Standaert Drive in Chatham regarding a suspicious person.
Police spoke with the male, who provided a name to officers.
Through investigation, officers determined that the male had provided a false name.
They were able to ascertain his true identity and found the male to be breaching conditions.
As a result, a 22-year-old Chatham male was charged with trespass by night, obstruct peace officer, fail to comply with probation and fail to comply with release order.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
