The Chatham branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library is inviting writers of all experience levels to connect at an upcoming networking event aimed at easing the isolation that can come with the craft.
The Chatham Branch Community Living Café will bring writers together on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m. to share tips and experiences from the writing industry.
Organizers say the event is meant to support writers experiencing writer’s block or those struggling to break into publishing, while also offering a chance to network, find a mentor or trade advice and stories with like-minded people.
The event is best suited for those 18 and older, and no registration is required. The library will provide the space while participants bring the conversation, support and experience. Light refreshments will be served.
