OPP investigating theft of meat products from Forest business

OPP officials allege: The Lambton County OPP is investigating a theft from a business in Forest.

Police say that on August 17 at 12:40 p.m., two unknown individuals attended a business on King Street in a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle. The passengers got out and entered the store while the driver stayed in the vehicle. The two individuals took approximately $500 worth of meat products and left without paying, and all three left the property in the SUV.

The first suspect who entered the store is described as a white male with a medium build who is bald, with a medium-length brown beard, and was seen wearing a grey graphic T-shirt and black shorts.

The second suspect is described as a white male with a large build, scarring on his face and tattoo sleeves on both arms, who was seen wearing a black shirt, grey shorts and sunglasses.

No description is available for the third individual, who remained in the vehicle.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Lambton County OPP is asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident, or who has dash camera or security camera footage or other information, to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, quoting reference number E261192467.
