OPP officials allege: Search efforts are ongoing to locate a missing swimmer in the Ausable River in the Township of Bosanquet.
On Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, just before 3 p.m., members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a missing 66-year-old individual from London.
The individual was last seen at a dock attached to an address on Canal Street in Grand Bend.
Police say residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area. Updates will be provided when available.
