OPP officials allege: A youth has been charged following a disturbance at a residence in Petrolia.
Lambton County OPP responded to the report shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 22. As a result of the investigation, a 14-year-old from Lambton County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with mischief under $5,000.
The youth is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia at a later date. The youth’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to contact Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, where tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
