Glasstown Brewing Company at 331 James Street in Wallaceburg is gearing up for one of the biggest celebrations of the year as RiverFest 2026 arrives on Saturday, September 12.
The waterfront will come alive with four breweries, three bands, two new beer releases and a full day built around music, food and the craft‑beer culture that continues to grow in Wallaceburg.
The live music lineup begins with Two From Tuesday at 4 p.m., followed by Becca Lee and The Backline at 6 p.m., and the Cory James Mitchell Band closing out the night at 8 p.m.
General entry is $10 and includes a free beer token, while the $25 VIP package offers priority seating, light snacks, Speakeasy access and private restrooms.
The event runs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the waterfront patio and inside the brewery.
This year’s RiverFest also marks the introduction of Glasstown’s new head brewer, Ben Brown.
Brown grew up just outside Wallaceburg and brings a unique mix of experience from across the country.
After earning a degree in winemaking and viticulture, he spent six years in Nova Scotia learning the craft of brewing and helping establish vineyards, followed by three years doing vineyard development work in British Columbia.
Now back home, he is settling into the brewhouse with a quiet confidence and a focus on letting the beer speak for itself.
Brown’s arrival comes at the perfect time as Glasstown prepares for Brewfest season and continues expanding its lineup of beers.
With RiverFest on the horizon and new releases planned, the brewery is aiming to make this fall one of its most memorable yet.
