The Wallaceburg Minor Baseball Association is asking families to submit interest forms and coaching applications before a Tuesday deadline as the organization prepares to field its first Ontario Rep Slo-Pitch Association teams next season.
Interest forms and coaching applications both close Tuesday, September 8. Families of players will be contacted with fall tryout details for divisions that draw enough interest, and a roster spot will be confirmed once a registration payment is made.
The association says ORSA offers enhanced development, balanced commitment and competition through weekly Lambton League play, summer tournaments and provincial championships.
The association is also seeking head and assistant coaches to lead what would be Wallaceburg’s first ORSA teams. Coaches will need a vulnerable sector check and must complete three online coaching courses, which the association says will be fully reimbursed.
