Four winners have been chosen through the Chatham-Kent Public Library Wallaceburg Branch’s annual Read to Ride summer reading bicycle draw.
The initiative, sponsored by the Wallaceburg Knights of Pythias, invites summer reading participants entering grades 1 through 4 to read for a chance to win a new bicycle and helmet.
Three of this year’s winners, Colin Zavitz, Elliot Campbell and Ava Lucier, stopped by the library this past Saturday to pick up their new bicycles. They were joined by Doug and Carol McCallum, representing the Knights of Pythias.
The library thanked everyone in the community who participated, as well as those who donated cash and prizes, saying it helped make another successful year of summer reading at the library possible.
