Robert “Shawn” Butler, a resident of Florence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia at the age of 55.
He is predeceased by his mother Lois (McLennan) Butler and lovingly remembered by his father Lonnie Butler (Sharen).
He leaves behind his brothers Chris (Jennifer), Jeff (Karissa) and Joel (Debbie) and his niece and nephews, Nick, Emily and Gregg.
Shawn was a special person who brought his own unique personality, laughter and friendship to the lives of those around him.
He will be fondly remembered by his Aunt Linda and Uncle Harold as well as his extended family and friends, especially by the members of the “Friday Night Club” – Mark, Mark, Jim and Adam, who shared many good times, laughs and memories with Shawn over the years.
Family and friends will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM.
The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
Interment in Shetland Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Kidney Foundation or St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia.
