Sarnia Police Service officials allege: A Sarnia man has been charged with multiple drug trafficking offences after Sarnia Police Service executed multiple search warrants across the city on Wednesday.
Members of the Sarnia Police Service Drug and Intelligence Unit, with assistance from the Emergency Response Team and K9 Unit, executed the warrants as part of an ongoing investigation.
As a result, officers seized approximately four kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, approximately one kilogram of cocaine, various strengths of prescription hydromorphone pills, and 120 oxycodone tablets. Police also seized drug trafficking-related paraphernalia, including scales and packaging materials, along with $151,452 CAD and $94 USD.
The estimated street value of the controlled substances seized is valued at over $300,000.
A 42-year-old Sarnia man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000. He is now before the courts.
