OPP officials allege: A 27-year-old Windsor man has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 40 at Electric Line in Chatham-Kent.
Elgin County OPP’s Chatham-Kent and Elgin detachments, along with Chatham-Kent EMS and Chatham-Kent Fire and Rescue, responded to the serious collision between a van and a sedan at approximately 5:11 p.m. Friday.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced deceased as a result of the collision.
Elgin County OPP, with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team, continue to investigate. All roadways are now open, and the OPP thanked the public for their patience during the closures.
