The Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent is hosting its 40th Anniversary Fundraising Gala at Links of Kent on Friday, Nov. 20.
The event, presented by the Frank and Mary Uniac Foundation and hosted by 99.1 FM CKXS’ Robyn Brady, offers an occasion to unite the community as the society honours its milestones and looks toward the future.
Since 1986, the society has supported individuals living with dementia, their care partners and families, expanding its programs and services and hosting events over the decades.
The gala will feature entertainment by DJ Courtney Wells and Maple City Strings, fine dining, a silent auction and a diamond earring raffle. Auction items include a travel package featuring a family trip to Cancun, Mexico, a Windsor-Essex getaway including a one-night stay at Lungovita Beach Retreat, and a Toronto package featuring a hotel stay and a $300 restaurant gift card.
All proceeds from the event will support future expansion of the society’s day programs in Chatham-Kent. The event is also supported by platinum sponsor Karen Ewald Wealth Management.
Tickets are available by Thursday, Nov. 12, at asckgala.com. For questions or assistance, contact Joel Emery, fundraising and community engagement coordinator, at 519-352-1043 or joel@justasck.ca.
