Skaters of all ages can lace up for free at seven arenas across Chatham-Kent on Sunday, Nov. 1, sponsored by CK Promoting Healthy Living.
The first session runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Chatham Memorial Arena. Ridgetown Arena will host a skate from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Three arenas will offer skates from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Dresden Arena, Thames Campus Arena and Tilbury Arena. Wallaceburg Memorial Arena will hold its session from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., sponsored by an anonymous donor in support of children’s activities. Wheatley Arena will wrap up the day with a skate from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The municipality says times and locations are subject to change and is encouraging residents to check the online ice-skating schedule for the most up-to-date information.
