Costumed saints and decorated trunks will fill the parking lot at Holy Family Church this weekend as the Kent Lambton Roman Catholic Friends of the Parish hosts an All Saints Day trunk or treat.
The event runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 1 at the church, located at 647 Murray St. Organizers say the afternoon will include games, trick or treating and prizes.
Participants are invited to decorate a car or table in the parking lot and hand out candy. Inside the hall, popcorn and a movie will be offered, along with crafts and more games.
Prizes will be awarded for best saint costume and best decorated trunk. Organizers are asking that decorations and costumes stay in the “not too scary” zone for their littlest guests.
