Brodie picks up point in Game #1 playoff loss

Dresden’s T.J. Brodie of the Calgary Flames picked up an assist in Game #1 of the Stanley Cup Playoff opening round series against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday.

Brodie helped set-up Sean Monahan with a powerplay goal at the 8:43 mark of the first period, tying the game up at the time at 1-1.

Eventually the Ducks would prevail in the game by a score of 3-2.

Brodie had the one assist in 20:19 minutes of ice time. He also registered two shots on net, two hits, one block and one takeaway in the game.

In 82 games in the regular season, Brodie had 6 goals and 30 assists for 36 points.

Game #2 is set for Saturday night in Anaheim.
