Pauline Bechard, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 81.
Pauline was born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on November 2, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Lena Goens. Beloved wife of the late Albert Bechard (2014). Loving mother of Karen Cecchini (Vic) and their children Travis, Alysha (Jon), Alannah and cherished great grandmother of Lena; Ronald Bourne, his children Derek and Jacklyn and their mother Sherry VanGeersdaele. Stepmother to Terry Bechard (Patricia), Charlene Farrell (Tom), Kevin Bechard (Terry), Tami (Bob) VanVugt, and Lori (Chris) Gouin. Dear grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 13. Dear sister of Marjorie Mestenmaker (late Tim), Pat Jansseuene (late Guy), Jerry Goens (late Anne), Richard Goens (late Carol), and the late Donald (surviving spouse Helen). Pauline was a long time employee at the Victoria National Trust in Wallaceburg.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate, Ontario.
