The season is over for the Dresden Junior Kings.
Down 3-2 in their best-of-seven Provincial Junior Hockey League series against the 73’s, the Kings entered Tuesday’s game hoping to force a Game #7 in the series.
However, the Kings fell in Essex by a score of 5-1.
Aidan Lachine scored the lone goal for the Kings.
Brendan Johnston made 24 saves and allowed 4 goals in the loss.
The 73’s will face the winner of the Lakershore/Mooretown series in the West Stobbs Division final.
The Canadiens lead the Flags 3-0.
