Lambton OPP officials allege: On February 17, 2019 at 9:45 p.m. members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were performing targeted patrol duties when they had occasion to stop an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on Pantry School Road in Dawn-Euphemia Township.
Further investigation revealed that the driver of the ATV, a 48-year-old male from Dawn-Euphemia Township was prohibited from operating a motor vehicle.
Subsequently, he was arrested for committing said offence.
As a result of the arrest, the male was searched.
During the search the OPP located and seized suspected methamphetamine, a loaded 22 calibre hand gun and a replica hand gun.
The male has been charged with allegedly committing the offences of:
– Operate a motor vehicle while prohibited (2 counts)
– Possess methamphetamine
– Carrying a concealed weapon
He was processed and released.
He must appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on April 3, 2019 in order to address the allegations.
