Wallaceburg Concert Band holding concert on Saturday
The Wallaceburg Concert Band is presenting their Spring 2019 Concert: ‘Spies, Swashbucklers, and Superheroes’.
This FREE Concert is being held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the WDSS Webber Auditorium, 920 Elgin Street in Wallaceburg.
“There will be mystery as special guests will perform with unique instruments,” organizers say.
“There will be suspense as a new commissioned piece of music will be presented. There will be surprise as something uniquely Wallaceburg will be heard. Sorry but as you will discover some things are top secret.”
Wallaceburg Concert Band officials say seating is limited, so people are being asked to arrive early using the Lorne Avenue entrance.
“Donations are graciously accepted and appreciated as we are a non-profit concert band,” organizers said in a press release.
“The Wallaceburg Concert Band is under the auspices of The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts. We exist through grants, donations and fundraising with the help of you the music lovers of our communities within Chatham-Kent. Thanks for your continued support.”
