This Tuesday at their weekly breakfast meeting, members of the Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise presented a $10,000 cheque to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF). The funds will be directed towards the Oncology program at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) to improve the hospital’s ability to treat cancer patients.

This generous donation was made possible through the annual Roses for Rotary Campaign put on by the service club. By selling roses priced at $25 per dozen, the Rotary Club is able to raise money each year to be reinvested into the community through different charities and not-for-profits.

“We are so appreciative of the partnership with Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise, and are sincerely grateful they chose our foundation to be the beneficiary of their annual Roses for Rotary Campaign” said Mary Lou Crowley, President & CEO, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation.

Since its establishment, Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise has continuously given back to the Chatham-Kent community through fundraising initiatives and volunteering. The Roses for Rotary program is planned again for 2020 to help the group continue their generous efforts.
