Police: Trespass by night, warrants executed

Warrant arrests

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, while responding to a 911 hang-up call, police located a 41-year-old Chatham man, who was currently wanted on a surety relief warrant.

The man was arrested and was transported to the South West Detention Centre, where he remains in custody.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: In April, 2020, a 35-year-old Windsor man was charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and theft of a motor vehicle.

The male fled Chatham-Kent before police could arrest him and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Early this morning, the male was located by Windsor Police Service and arrested.

He was released from custody with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On August 4, 2020, a 30-year-old Chatham man was release from custody with a number of conditions including to obey a curfew.

On August 7, 2020, police attended his residence and discovered the male was not home and breaching his conditions.

Early this morning police located the male while on general patrol.

The male was arrested and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Trespass by night

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, police received reports of a female trespassing on a residential property.

Police attended the area and located the female.

The 36-year-old Chatham women was arrested for trespass by night.

The female was also intoxicated in a public place.

She has been held in custody until sober where she will be released with a future court date.
