TBT: Wallaceburg’s Capitol Theatre, 1930-1969

The photo above, which hangs in the Wallaceburg and District Museum, shows the Capitol Theatre in downtown Wallaceburg.

Here is what the photo caption says: “The Capitol Theatre was an elegant movie house designed by Detroit’s famed Fox Theatre architect. It opened in 1930, to show films and live performances. It closed in 1969.”
