Gerald ‘Jerry’ Turner

It is with great sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Gerald Wayne Turner ‘Jerry’, a resident of Wallaceburg on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the age of 74.

Loving husband of Marian Turner and the late Patricia Turner (2001).

Jerry will be remembered by his children and step-children Lisa (Mike) Parker, Jeffery (Sara) Turner, Sarah (Travis) Lappan, Sandra Gilmore, Charles (Jade) Gilmore.

He cherished the time he spent watching his grandchildren Riley, Reece, Kira, Isaac, Charlie, Avery, Ian, Cara and Zach during all their activities and sporting events.

Son of the late Leonard and Veronica (nee Seys) Turner and dear brother of Judy (the late John) Hooper, the late Patrick (Kathy) Turner, Deborah Kerr, Steven (Louise) Turner, Brenda (Ron) Oliver and Anthony (Candy) Turner.

He will be missed dearly by his extended family and friends.

Jerry retired as a supervisor at Eaton Yale/Oxford Automotive and enjoyed woodworking, walking, gardening and volunteering throughout the community during his retirement.

During his younger years he could be seen golfing, fishing and hunting.

Family and friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 from 1-3pm and 6-8pm.

Due to Covid Restrictions a private Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 with burial at Riverview Cemetery to follow.
